At Oforishe Resource Limited we take the health and safety of our staff, and our customers, seriously. Our Occupational Health & Safety policy is integral to our business practices and is in place to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees and to those who may be affected by our contractual duties.

Health and Safety policy

We ensure that all our employees are provided with information, training and supervision to raise their awareness and duty of care under the provisions of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and its supportive regulations.

All equipment and working practices are maintained and reviewed regularly to support the companies safe working practices and to ensure minimal risk to the health, safety and welfare of the companies employees. In addition, regular health and safety audits are carried out to ensure that the correct procedures are being followed.

It is the policy of Oforishe Resource Limited to:

  • Ensure safe handling and use of substances.

  • Consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety.

  • Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment.

  • Provide information, instruction and supervision for employees.

  • Prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health.

  • Maintain safe and healthy working conditions.

  • Carry out a JSA before starting any job

COSHH Policy

COSHH stands for 'Control of Substances Hazardous to Health'. Oforishe Resource Limited requires that all cleaning materials used must be of an approved range and the suppliers must provide full safety data sheets for each item.

Our employees are not allowed to use any cleaning chemicals until they have received the necessary training and are fully aware of the relevant COSHH regulations. Every employee has a responsibility to see that these regulations are adhered to at all times.

New or updated COSHH data information is made available to all employees in accordance with our continuous training policy. Managers have a responsibility to ensure that every person using substances that may be hazardous to health is fully aware of COSHH regulations. Materials handling and storage will comply with any special manufacturer's instructions in addition to those supplied with the relevant COSHH data sheet.

Environmental policy & Environmentally Sustainable Cleaning

There is strong demand from governments, companies and the public to encourage environmental sustainability. Oforishe Resource Limited fully supports, and put into practice, environmentally sustainable cleaning methods.


Environmental Policy

Oforishe Resource Limited is committed to minimising the negative environmental impacts of their business activities. As well as complying with all legislative and regulatory requirements, there is an organisation-wide focus on leading the industry in ‘Green Cleaning’ procedures for environmental protection, energy efficiency and waste reduction.


Adhering to our Customers Environmental Policies

As the majority of our business activity takes place on the customer’s premises, we make it a priority to discuss and adhere to the customers own Environmental Policy where ever possible.


Product and Equipment suppliers

Oforishe Resource Limited sources all of the equipment and products used by our cleaner. We constantly research and review the products and equipment used, to ensure that they have a minimal environmental impact.


Ongoing Training and Improvement

All our cleaning staff are trained in efficient, hygienic and environmentally sustainable cleaning practices. We ensure that they understand the hazards and care procedures associated with the specific chemicals that they use.


In addition, any new information from internal research and development initiatives is effectively communicated to all employees.

Liquid and Chemical Waste Management

We ensure that our Trade Waste is disposed of in the correct manner. All chemicals are stored safely, labeled correctly and the correct dilution procedures are followed strictly.

Solid Waste Management and Recycling

No solid waste is left on the customer’s premises and all solid waste is recycled where possible.


Energy Conservation

Oforishe Resource Limited actively tries to reduce our (and your!) energy consumption. In addition, we only use only modern, efficient and regularly serviced equipment.

Emissions Management

Our company vehicles are economical and are serviced regularly to ensure the lowest possible emissions. Filters and other emission controlling devices are cleaned regularly on all emission producing equipment (E.g. Vacuums).


KEY FOCUS AREAS

Oforishe Resource Limited renders Janitorial Services, Cleaning Services and Movers Services to clients wherever they may be, especially the large segment of the active population.
